Complete Concern

UV 3196/10000 Complete Concern
The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands
Psalm 138 v 8

The Lord is concerned with our personal well being. He perfects or completes us through our faith in Him. He is consistent in His love, faithfulness and mercy towards us. We are the loving work of His hands and He will therefore, never let us down or let go of us. His eye and His hand is always upon those who fear or trust and believe Him and His word. The world is full of darkness and is His word that is the light that helps us navigate through this world. The word light in the spiritual lexicon is a synonym for love.
He makes all things complete for us. No aspect of our lives is neglected or ignored by Him. But we should not place Him in such a position that He has to compete with the world or anything or anyone else for our attention. He is even interested in helping us with our personal ambitions as long as it does not clash or go against His will and His word. We were slated for our final promotion for quite some time but someone seemingly in the know of things told me, “It is impossible. It will not happen now.” There were many obstacles like the huge boulder at the cave grave of Jesus. But, I prayed that the Lord will send His angels or messengers to remove the huge boulder at the mouth of those who oppose. I believed it will happen in three days which I call the Resurrection cycle since Jesus died and rose on the third day. Yesterday, while I was in His sanctuary, I received the good news of our promotion. As it is written long before civil services came into being in this world, “Promotion does not come from the East or the West. It comes from the Lord, Our Maker and Sovereign Ruler.”
The amazing thing about the word is that it holds good for every generation of mankind. The only prerequisite is a little faith. Mountains or life barriers are levelled either by giving our feet the strength to climb it as easily as a plain or by chipping it to level and even ground. Life knows many barriers but the power of faith has no limits or barriers. Without barriers in the different domains of life that we have to traverse, our faith can neither be tested, honed, proven or rewarded. The Lord proves His concern for us even in the intimate details of our lives by being involved in helping us cross these barriers, whether professional, personal or familial.
