Breathing God

UV 666/10,000 Breathing God “And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.” Genesis 2 v 7 The Lord God formed us. He is the potter and we are the pots. We are the earthen vessels formed to hold the excellence of His power and grace in us. Yet, many people act as if they are the potter and God is the clay. They speculate and even try to wish Him out of existence, saying He does not exist, that He is the figment of our imagination. He formed us and then He transformed us by breathing into our nostrils. As long as the breath of life is in us, the spirit of God is in us. The spirit of God searches our inward parts and knows us from inside out. When we plan for change, we must do it the ‘God way’, from the inside to the out. Since God made our inner and out outer selves, we owe it to Him and to ourselves to live a life that is dependent on Him. With every breath, we must acknowledge and be grateful to Him. The Lord allows many events and circumstances in our lives to break our dependencies on things or persons other than Him. Scripture records that when Jesus breathed on His disciples after His resurrection, they received the Holy Spirit. Our normal spirits are dormant or spiritually asleep but the moment Jesus breathes on us, our spirits are quickened or awakened. We can ask God the Father to breathe into us, the Lord Jesus to breathe upon us and the Holy Spirit to breathe through us. When the Triune God breathes upon, into and through us, we become fully human and fully alive spiritually. Breathing God all the time means we are continually anchored and focused on Him. Our spirits fellowship with His Spirit. The carbon that our bodies are made of will be transformed into the diamond that will reflect the glory of God in our lives. Supernatural power and grace will begin to flow into and out of our lives like water from the spouts of an earthen jar. Understanding and applying this single simple uni-verse will transform our lives and its impact. Prateep V Philip
