Spiritual Warfare and Angelic Help

UV 489/10,000 Daniel 10 v 13 Spiritual warfare and angelic help Dan 10:13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia. This uni-verse reveals the secret of victory in spiritual warfare. Scripture reveals that spiritual warfare is a very real and active phenomena happening all through time and history. Every nation and place in the world is ruled by a prince of darkness. The powers of darkness struggle to frustrate our purpose and lives. The powers of God work to overcome them and cause God’s will to flourish and be fulfilled in our lives. Our prayers invoke the help of the angel Michael. The absence of a prayerful life deters the angels, weakens their efforts and enable the powers of darkness to succeed. In this verse, the prince of Persia resisted the Christophany Himself, the appearance of Jesus before His advent into this world. There is a heavenly struggle led by Lucifer and his fallen angels. But, the Lord of hosts or the armies of heaven sent Michael one of the archangels with His company of angels to help Him. The Christ was on the way to meet Daniel to reveal to Him some end-time prophecies. In our homes, when prayers cease or are irregular or weak due to not living a life of faith, the princes of darkness or the ruling spirits of this world gain the upper hand. The other day in a time of prayer, the Lord revealed that we must pray asking that Michael be sent to our assistance. Michael will fight with the prince of darkness who brings obstacles and troubles in our path to rob us of our blessings, peace, health, success and prosperity. The armies of heaven will help us frustrate the designs of the enemy of our souls. We don’t look to the hills or the people in exalted positions, of great wealth or power for help but we look to the Maker of Heaven and earth for help. As Maker of earth, He sends us earthly help through people, events and circumstances. As Maker of Heaven, He sends us heavenly help through His angels. Prateep V Philip
